It’s almost been 2 months now since our season wrapped up. Our hardworking lodge team has had time to rest and are now onto their winter endeavours.
Julie returned back to Vancouver Island to be with her boyfriend, Sean, cat ,Weasel, and dog, Quincy. She has been busy mountain biking and making the most of her time at home with friends and family. Julie will be starting training for her winter season gig soon. She will be cooking at a renowned heli-skiing lodge in Valemount, BC.
John stayed on at the lodge a little later than the rest of the team to help train and prepare the winter caretaker. He is now back at home working on his own property. He will likely be doing some traveling this winter while also engineering consulting on the side.
Moritz drove across Canada with Kylie to see the rest of this beautiful country! They did the Cape Scott Trail on Vancouver Island, drove the Canadian Icefield Parkway, saw the prairies and explored the big city of Toronto. Moritz has now flown back to British Columbia and has settled at Big White Ski Resort where he will work as a lifty for the winter.
Kylie drove across Canada with Moritz to be back in Toronto with her cat Jack. She is now at home keeping her father company before she jet sets again in January to Indonesia for 3 months! In March, she will begin her drive back out west to find herself a home before next season!
Mollie is back in the office with George, Sabrina, and Chris working on 2020 sales, marketing and operations. She is also busy planning her wedding happening early May 2020!Tags: Desolation Sound, Eco Lodge, homfray lodge, Pacific Coastal Cruises
